Meetings, Celebrations & Presentations: With our integrated technology we can accommodate a variety of meetings, presentations, and even celebrations in our Dining Hall and Bucksbaum Outdoor Gateway. Events in our dining facility may begin one hour after meal service and end 30 minutes before the next meal service.
Self-Guided Activities: Examples of self-guided activities many groups enjoy at the Kennedy Mountain Campus are hiking/walking, our seasonal KMC group photo challenge, hammocking, bouldering etc.
Facilitated Activities and Programs: Examples of facilitated activities and programs we have to offer are rock climbing, yoga, sound bathing, forest bathing (hiking meditation), team building, and challenge course. All facilitated programs and activities are customized to your group's desired outcomes.
Coming soon: We are currently under construction on our new Via Ferrata courses.
Evening Activities: Example evening activities are a campfire with s’mores, movie night, yard games, and stargazing.

DU Outdoors & Activities
Note your interest in adding a DU Outdoors package when submitting your request.
Our DU Outdoors team is a group of skilled outdoor professionals dedicated to enriching your stay with exceptional adventures and team-bonding opportunities. Our team includes experienced rock and via ferrata guides, outdoor skill instructors and coaches, and expert challenge facilitators. When not serving KMC guests, they support the DU community through a range of educational programs, including outdoor leadership training, professional guide certifications, and wilderness medicine courses.
Based at the Bucksbaum Outdoor Gateway, we provide guests with comprehensive information on activities, equipment rentals to ensure a seamless and enjoyable outdoor experience.
When completing the Facility Booking Request Form, please indicate your interest in activity options. We will arrange an initial consultation with the DU Outdoors team to discuss and plan your desired activities.
Transportation
Transportation is the responsibility of the user.
Vehicles must remain onsite for the duration of your event to ensure readiness for emergency evacuations. The KMC can assist with large passenger coach reservations through our approved vendors.
For Âé¶¹Çø groups, please follow your division/department guidelines and University policies.
We had a fantastic time attempting the different elements, and the staff made it so fun and secure. Lunch was also phenomenal!
