The Lamont Wind Ensemble presents &ldquo\;The Dream and the Dreamer\,&rdquo\; a powerful musical celebration honoring Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr. and Black History Month. In partnership with the Black American West History Museum and Heritage Center\, the evening features historical reenactments between musical selections and a pre-concert display of artifacts in the Hamilton Hall lobby. Vocalist Tatiana Mayfield Brown (also known as &ldquo\;LadyMay&rdquo\;) joins the ensemble for premieres of her own works newly arranged for winds\, and M. Roger Holland\, II and the Spirituals Project lend their voices to this uplifting program. The centerpiece is Holland&rsquo\;s The Dream and the Dreamer\, arranged especially for the Lamont Wind Ensemble\, weaving together music and history in a stirring tribute to hope\, justice\, and community.
