Oboist Ian Wisekal presents a colorful and imaginative faculty recital exploring the many shades of the oboe&rsquo\;s voice. Joined by Jason Shafer (clarinet)\, Anne Breeden (piano)\, and composer/pianist Reggie Berg\, the program features original solo works by Wisekal\, charming miniatures by Germaine Tailleferre\, and a new arrangement of Roger Quilter&rsquo\;s Where the Rainbow Ends. The evening also includes the premiere of a jazzy\, genre-blending trio commissioned from Berg. With a playful thread of rainbows running throughout\, this recital promises both heart and humor in equal measure.
