Social justice movements have always emphasized the importance of building community. The concept of the "beloved community" embraced by Dr. Martin Luther King\, Jr. and others working for justice or simply the concept of building connections that are able to withstand challenges and disagreements is essential to endurance\, resistance\, and creative positive change. What does community building mean? How might that look in a law school environment in a time of great social upheaval? Join us for lunch\, reflection\, and community building. In the spirit of community building\, students attending this event will also have the option to engage in a short service project organizing supplies for a local organization. \;
