Travel the globe through music in the Lamont Wind Ensemble鈥檚 鈥淒ances of the World鈥, led by guest conductor Jeremy Van Hoy. This colorful program blends beloved classics and fresh discoveries, from Guy Woolfenden鈥檚 spirited Illyrian Dances to Bartok's Roumanian Dances听and Gordon Jacob鈥檚 stately William Byrd Suite. Contemporary flair arrives with Adam Gorb鈥檚 playful Awayday and Van Hoy鈥檚 own vibrant arrangement of the Bollywood hit Dola Re Dola. It鈥檚 a joyful celebration of rhythm, melody, and the universal language of dance.
